Learn to Meditate
Meditation is the most direct way to work on your mind and so transform your experience of life. While it’s easy to start meditating with an app, the oldest and best way to learn is face-to-face with a teacher, deepening your practice in the company of others.

Explore Buddhism
Buddhism is a complete, practical path of human growth. Drawing on the breadth and depth of the tradition, we teach Buddhism in a way that is relevant to modern life.

Go on Retreat
A Buddhist retreat is a chance to escape the noise and complexity of modern life and deepen your experience of yourself and of the world around you. It’s not a holiday or a spa, however most people come away refreshed and inspired.

Mantra & Meditation Morning
Chanting mantras can be an enlivening and beautiful practice. Come and explore how mantra and meditation can support each other, cultivating positive emotion and opening us up to the mystery of Enlightenment.
Sub25 Third Friday Class
Join others under 25 for an evening reflecting on what is most valuable in life. Alongside meditation and the chance to meet new like-minded people, the evening will include a talk from an experienced Buddhist and the chance to ask questions (with tea and cake until 10.30pm).
Buddhism & Meditation Weekend
Curious about retreats? This introductory weekend is an ideal first taste. Break out of your routine and spend two days learning transformative practices, connecting with others, and enjoying the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
For the benefit of all
Everyone is welcome to take part in our activities whether or not a Buddhist. Some people choose to deepen their involvement with the community in various ways. For Buddhists, community (or 'Sangha') means friendship based on a shared vision of what is most valuable in life.
If you want to deepen your practice at the LBC, we’ll help you to keep on taking the next step, whatever that is for you.

People of Colour
Our people of colour spaces are an opportunity for all people of African, Asian and mixed heritage to come together for meditation, practice and community. Led by people of colour, for people of colour. We offer both online and in person events, from introductory sessions to practice days and residential retreats. Join us on the second Sunday of each month from 10am till 11.30am for our online sessions. Led by our People of Colour team, we meditate, explore Buddhist teachings and discuss ways how we can apply these in our lives.
