Mary Jo Salter is an American poet, playwright, lyricist and co-editor of The Norton Anthology of Poetry. She has published eight collections of poetry, including It’s Hard to Say: Selected Poems (Waywiser Press, 2015). She is the author of a children’s book, The Moon Comes Home, and is Krieger-Eisenhower Professor in The Writing Seminars of Johns Hopkins University. She’ll be in conversation with Maitreyabandhu about her life and work, as well as be reading her poems.
